4. Legal Basis The data protection term "personal data" refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2000 (hereinafter "DSG"). Data processing by us only takes place on the basis of a legal permission. We process personal data only with your consent (§ 7 (2) point 2 DSG or Art. 6 (1) letter a GDPR), for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or at your request to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) letter b GDPR), to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) letter c GDPR), or if processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms that require the protection of personal data prevail (Art. 6 (1) letter f GDPR).
5. Duration of Storage Unless otherwise stated in the following notices, we store data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the processing purpose or to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. Such legal retention obligations may arise in particular from commercial or tax regulations. From the end of the calendar year in which the data was collected, we will keep such personal data contained in our accounting records for ten years and personal data contained in business letters and contracts for six years. In addition, we will retain data relating to demonstrable consents as well as complaints and claims for the duration of the statutory limitation periods. Data stored for advertising purposes will be deleted if you object to processing for this purpose.
6. Categories of Recipients of the Data In the context of processing your data, we use processors. Processing operations performed by such processors include, for example, hosting, email dispatch, maintenance and support of IT systems, customer and order management, accounting and invoicing, marketing measures, or file and data carrier destruction. A processor is a natural or legal person, authority, agency, or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller. Processors do not use the data for their own purposes but carry out data processing exclusively on behalf of the controller and are contractually obligated to ensure appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection. Furthermore, we may transfer your personal data to entities such as postal and courier services, house bank, tax consultancy/auditing firm, or tax authorities. 7. Transfer of Data to Third Countries Our data processing may involve the transfer of certain personal data to third countries, i.e., countries where the GDPR is not applicable law. Such transfer is permissible if the European Commission has determined that such a third country provides an adequate level of data protection. Processing in Exercising Your Rights When you exercise your rights under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, we process the personal data transmitted to us for the purpose of implementing these rights by us and to be able to provide proof thereof. Data stored for the purpose of providing information and preparing for it will be processed only for this purpose and for purposes of data protection control, and otherwise processing will be restricted in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR. These processing operations are based on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Articles 15 to 22 GDPR.
9. Your Rights As a data subject, you have the right to assert your data subject rights against us. In particular, you have the following rights:
• You have the right to request information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR and § 44 DSG as to whether and, if so, to what extent we process personal data concerning you.
• You have the right to request correction of your data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR.
• You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR and § 45 DSG.
• You have the right to restrict processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR.
• You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit this data to another controller in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.
• If you have given us separate consent to the processing of data, you can revoke this consent in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR at any time. Such revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to revocation.
• If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.

Right to Object You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR. If personal data about you is processed by us for the purpose of direct marketing, you may object to this processing in accordance with Art. 21 (2) and (3) GDPR.
II. Data Processing on Our Website
When using the website, we collect information that you provide yourself. In addition, certain information about your use of the website is automatically collected during your visit to the website. In data protection law, the IP address is generally considered a personal data. 4. Analysis, Tracking & Retargeting We use the following services for analysis, tracking, and retargeting purposes: A.) Google Analytics This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. B.) Google Ads This website uses Google Ads, a service for Internet advertising that allows us to place ads on third-party websites (Google search results, YouTube, etc.). The legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to § 7 (2) DSG and, if applicable, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. As part of our collaboration with Google, Google will use cookies on your computer ("conversion cookies") if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our page.
