Your love story, beautifully told

After 25 years of working on high-pressure film productions, I’ve learnt that the best moments aren’t scripted. The same is true of weddings.

I photograph what’s real, not staged or rehearsed, your wedding day as it happens. Most of the time you won’t even notice me there, and that’s exactly how it should be. The story belongs to you, not me. My job is to guide gently when needed, observe quietly, and to capture moments as they happen, creating images that feel unforced and real.

Based in Austria, I photograph local celebrations and destination weddings across Europe, South Africa, and the UAE. Wherever it takes place, every wedding is different, shaped by its own setting, story, and the atmosphere on the day. From the grand scenes of ceremony and ritual to the quite unexpected gestures that often go unnoticed. A hand held, a glance shared, the stillness between two people in the middle of it all. My role is to anticipate these moments, so you can relax and simply be yourselves.

I take the time to understand what matters most to you.

The photographs that follow reflect a balance of candid emotion and quiet cinematic composition, a true record of your wedding day told with honesty and care.

Questions couples often ask me

What do you mean by ‘cinematic’ when describing your photos?
For me, cinematic isn’t about staging or adding drama. It’s about approaching your wedding day the way a filmmaker approaches a scene. Thinking ahead, reading the light, watching how people move, and understanding how moments connect. I’m constantly anticipating what’s about to happen and placing myself deliberately, so the final gallery feels cohesive and considered, not just a collection of images.

How I work on your wedding day
How many weddings do you shoot in a year, and will you be juggling ours with others?
I photograph a limited number of weddings each year to make sure you receive the focus and care your day deserves. When you book me, I’m exclusively yours. I don’t take on other weddings that day. For local or destination wedding multi-day celebrations, I can be there for the full experience, from the welcome party and rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and after wedding brunch send-off.
Can you show us a full wedding gallery, from start to finish, not just highlights?
Of course. A full gallery is the best way to understand how I document a wedding from beginning to end. During or after our initial consultation, I can share complete galleries from previous weddings so you can see how I approach settings, lighting, and timelines.
How would you describe your photography style and how much will you direct vs letting moments happen?
My documentary style blends observation with gentle direction. Years in film production have taught me when to step in and when to stay invisible. I guide when needed for portraits or group photographs, but most of the time I work quietly in the background, anticipating rather than staging moments.
How long after the wedding will we receive our images, and what does that delivery include?
Your full set of images will be ready within 4-6 weeks after your wedding day. Delivery is via a secure, personal online gallery that remains active for six months after delivery. The number of digital photographs depends on your collection, typically between 200 and 750 images, depending on the package you choose.

What happens if the weather changes?
Years on film productions have taught me to adapt fast. Whether it’s overcast skies or a sudden downpour, I adjust lighting and positioning so everything still looks beautiful. Some of the most memorable images often come from the unexpected.
How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book 8 – 12 months in advance, especially for weddings in peak season or popular destinations. Because I take on a limited number of weddings each year, the earlier you reach out, the better. If your date is sooner, it’s always worth asking. If I’m available, I’ll do my best to make it happen.
