About the collection

Intentional motion blur transforms everyday encounters with rain, water, and reflections into abstract expressions of emotion and atmosphere. Using slow shutter techniques, deliberate camera movement, and painterly light and shadow, it traces the shifting edge between clarity and sensation. Each image becomes less a literal record, and more a response shaped by motion.

Mirroring techniques used in abstract expressionism and echoing the blurred brushstrokes of Gerhard Richter, the images blur the line between photography and painting. Rather than freezing a moment in time, they surrender to motion, challenging perception and rewarding introspection. Painted Blur is a meditation on the transient, a world rendered not as it is, but as it feels.
